程序上法院会受理虚拟财产相关的案件，但是一旦案件进入审理阶段，恐怕还是会陷入无法可依的窘境。民法典只做了原则性规定，具体如何保护，有赖于其他法律的规定。但遗憾的是，目前中国并没有对网络虚拟财产的保护制定专门的法律。对于此类案件，法院通常只能以“破坏计算机信息系统”等法律规定来审理。
